Specimen examined:— RAKHINE. Kyaukpyu District : 13 May 1945, Wallace 125 ( BM) .
Notes:— The specimen does not match any of the currently recognised species, but appears closest to P. lacei (Summerh.) Schuit., Y.P.Ng & H.A.Pedersen. It is the only record of the genus in Rakhine State (the centre of distribution is in southern Myanmar, with outliers in Kachin and Chin States, Mandalay Region and Shan State) .
