Agetocera choui , new species
Agetocera taiwana Chûjô, 1962: 59 (part); Kimoto, 1969: 31 (part); Kimoto, 1989: 249 (part); Takizawa et. al., 1995: 8 (part).

Male. Length 8.2–10.0 mm, width 4.0– 4.9 mm. Antenna similar to A. yuae . Genitalia ( Fig. 33 View FIGURES 33 ) with median process extremely flattened laterally; lateral processes long and wide; endophallus with lateral spiculae short and not recurved apically.
Female. Similar to A. yuae .
Diagnosis. See the diagnosis of A. yuae . Agetocera huatungensis differs by the ventrally flattened median process, the shorter lateral processes, and the lateral spiculae being short and recurved in the male genitalia.

Distribution. Taiwan (Taichung: Anmashan; Nantou: Meifeng, Wushe; Hualien: Tayuling). Etymology. The new species is named after the late Dr. Liang-Yih Chou, who made a great contribution to the insect collection of the Taiwan Agricultural Research Institute.
