Diagnosis. The external characters of the species are similar to R. peregrina , but the size is larger, the apex of the forewing is more falcate, the postmedial line is slightly sinuate posteriorly, the underside of the forewing is yellowish brown on the posterior half part (cited as Prout 1920 –1941). The species is also similar to R. tristrigalis , but the outer margin and the transverse lines of the forewing are less oblique than those of R. tristrigalis .
Material examined. CHINA: Yunnan (ZFMK): 1 6, Li-kiang , 30.V.1934, coll. H. Höne. More material is available at ZFMK.
Distribution. China (Yunnan), India (Sikkim, Darjeeling), Burma.
