Generic diagnosis. Microlaimidae . Cephalic sensilla longer or approximately equal with outer labial sensilla. Amphid monospiral, rounded. Somatic setae never situated on processes. Cuticle annulated or optically smooth, without thorns. Shape of oesophagial bulb varying from spherical to pyrifom. Testis single, directed anterior, outstretched. Gubernaculum capable bearing apophysis. Ovaries outstretched. Tail conical or elongated.
