Type genus: Passalozetes

Plicate nymphs, unideficient; camerostomal border entire; 10 pairs of notogastral setae; 3 or 4 pairs of octotaxic organs (when three, A 3 absent); lenticulus with or without marked outline, or lenticulus absent; pteromorphs absent; latero­posterior tectum of notogaster absent; pedotecta I and II well developed; sensilli long and reclinated; genital setae development (1­2­3­4 or 5); paraproctal atrichosy in proto­ and deutonymph; phanerae of palpal “double horn” not strongly associated; dorsal seta of genua I to III and tibia III associated with solenidion until tritonymph; tibiae with retrotecta; small species (250–400 µm in length).
