Cells are aerobic, Gramstainingpositive, nonflagellated and coccoid. Colonies are circular, convex, smooth and cream colored after incubation for 4 days on MH agar at 30℃. In the API 20NE system, positive reaction for esculin hydrolysis, β-galactosidase activity and utilization of Dmannitol and Dmaltose. In the API 20NE system, negative reaction for nitrate reduction, indole production, glucose fermentation, arginine dihydrolase, urease activity, gelatin hydrolysis, oxidase activity and utilization of Dglucose, Larabinose, Dmannose, N acetylglucosamine, potassium gluconate, capric acid, adipic acid, malic acid, trisodium citrate and phenylacetic acid. Strain 19D2A1 (= NIBRBAC000503267) was isolated from soil around the Dong River, Gangwon Province, Korea (37°18′48.5″N 128°37′37.6″E) GoogleMaps .
