Records: Koman, 12 August 2003, 1 ♂, 3 ♀♀; Rahovic, 22 June 2011, 1 ♂, from M. mystacinus .

Male measurements (n = 2): idiosoma 1020–1026 long, 846–850 wide; dorsal shield 625–628 long, 522–528 wide; sternal shield 236–249 long, 206–209 wide.

This species is distributed in Europe ( Haitlinger and Walter 1997), Kazakhstan, Tajikistan ( Stanyukovich 1997), Mongolia ( Dusbábek 1966) and Japan ( Uchikawa and Wada 1979). It parasitizes mainly M. mystacinus sensu lato, but was also found on M. brandtii , M. nattereri , M. dasycneme , M. myotis , E. serotinus , V. murinus , N. noctula , P. auritus ( Stanyukovich 1997) and M. alcathoe ( Danko et al. 2010) . Five mites (prevalence 50%, mean intensity 2.5, relative density 1.3) were collected from M. mystacinus sensu stricte.
