Remarks. Griffin & Brown (1976) first described the species from Australia. This species has a very characteristic pseudo-chela on the P5, which closely resembles a real chela ( Fig. 6B) (see also Guinot & Richer de Forges 1995: 527). Known only from the Coral and Tasman seas, from 500 to 825 m.
