Remarks. Lamoha inflata was described from Western Samoa and has also been recorded from the Loyalty Is. and French Polynesia. It was caught by traps between 400 and 1000 m deep on the steep slopes of coral islands ( Guinot & Richer de Forges 1981, 1995). The specimen collected on the eastern coast of Luzon is a new record for the Philippines and considerably extends the known range of this species. The overall colour of the fresh specimen was salmon-red ( Fig. 15B–D).
