Material examined. 2 spec., TAU 15181, Israel, off Hadera, 32° 21.799N, 34° 28.369E, 923 m, coll. Stern and Rothman, 1 August 2013.

Distribution. Eastern Atlantic, Mediterranean, Indian Ocean and southern Pacific; depth range 450–2500 m. We report the first record for the Israeli coast.
