Diagnosis

Genus of the family Maenioceratidae with or without ventrolateral grooves; shell with constrictions or internal thickenings. External lobe wide; E 2 lobe usually rectangular stair-shaped, narrowly rounded; ventrolateral saddle inverted U-shaped; lateral lobe U-shaped or tongue-shaped.
