Diagnosis

Worker. This species can be readily distinguished from its congeners in the C. batesii group by the presence of well-developed longitudinal rugulae on vertex, the strong and dense sculpture on cephalic surface, mesosoma, and petiole that makes the general appearance dull, and the feebly impressed metanotal groove.
