Type species: Ultragryllacris pulchra Gorochov & Dawwrueng, 2015 , by original designation.
Diagnosis. The genus can be identified by the following characters: posterior margin of male ninth abdominal tergite with a large, heavily sclerotised and long projection, ventral surface with heavily sclerotised ridges; tenth abdominal tergite short with a high median keel.
