Etymology. The specific name is a noun in apposition taken from the type locality.
Diagnosis. The male of Thymoites bocaina n. sp. resembles that of T. villarricaensis Levi (see Levi, 1964: figs. 39, 42) in the shape of the carapace, high and unmodified in ocular area ( Figs. 6, 7 View FIGURES 5 – 9 ), but differs in the carapace by presence of two setae between the anterior median eyes; in the trajectory of the sperm duct in the tegulum ( Fig. 5 View FIGURES 5 – 9 ), conductor pointed and tibia of palp not elevated ( Fig. 5 View FIGURES 5 – 9 ). The female of T. bocaina n. sp. is close to T. villarricaensis Levi (see Levi, 1964: figs. 40, 41), by the long and not coiled copulatory duct ( Figs. 8, 9 View FIGURES 5 – 9 ), but differs by the larger spermathecae and more distant from each other ( Fig. 9 View FIGURES 5 – 9 ).
