Types: Holotype male and allotype female of Acidoproctus hopkinsi mexicanus deposited in USNM (65423). Note: Specimens of A. maximus were described by Carriker (1954a) as “ Acidoproctus hopkinsi mexicanus , n. subsp. ”.
