Material: Solomon Islands: 1 female (MNHNPy 1040), station CP1781, N/ O 'Alis' Campagne SALOMON 1, 08º31.2'S 160º37.7'E, 1036–1138 m, 29/09/2001; coll. Bouchet, Dayat, Warén, RicherIRD.

Remarks: A widespread, bathypelagic species, having been recorded from the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans, including Indonesia, Vanuatu and the Flores Sea (e.g. Bamber & Thurston 1995; Stock 1997).
