Type material. Holotype female (slide no. 2011-13-1), river, Qingyan (106°41′26″E, 26°19′41″N), Guiyang, Guizhou Province, coll. Ze-Yu Wang , 18 April 2011. GoogleMaps

Female (n = 1). Idiosoma L 864, W 683 ( Figs 7–8 View Figs 7–11 ); setae of A1 spine-like; coxae occupying about 1/3 ventral surface, posterior margin Cx I medially tongue shaped. ACG without lateral apodemes, W 190–203, medial suture of ACG L 130, distance from anterior tip of Cx I to median posterior edge of ACG 250, ACG separate from PCG; interior margin of PCG reduced to median angle, median distance of PCG 126, Cx III W 521; three pairs of Ac arranged in arc, Ac1 L 53, Ac2 L 63, Ac3 L 42; genital plates with rounded anterior and posterior margin and concave inner edge, L 132; genital pore L 88; distance from anterior margin of pregenital sclerite to posterior margin of postgenital sclerite 104; V 1 separated from V 2; infracapitulum L 227; chelicera long and slender, cheliceral claw L 114, basal segment L 274 ( Fig. 11 View Figs 7–11 ), ratio of basal segment L to claw L 2.4; palp slender, total L 303 ( Fig. 10 View Figs 7–11 ), dorsal L, H, L/H and Lp of palp segments: P-I 43, 23, 1.9, 14.1; P-II 76, 37, 2.0, 25.1; P-III 71, 34, 2.1, 23.7; P-IV 86, 28, 2.9, 28.4; P-V 26, 12, 2.2, 8.5, P-I slender and long, P-IV with two hair-like ventral seta, ventral margin x:y:z = 4:1:2, and with lateral flanges at the distal margin of P-IV, hair-like setae on P-IV dense; I-L-5 dorsal L 156, ventral L 119, maximal H 42, ratio of dorsal L to maximal H of I-L-5: 3.7; S-1 close to S-2 and homomorphic, S-1 and S-2 L 56, W 5. I-L-6 L 136, maximal H 39 and minimal H 31; ratio of L of I-L-5 to L of I-L-6 almost 1.2; claws of legs with a ventral clawlet ( Fig. 9 View Figs 7–11 ).

© Zoological Systematics, 40(1): 53–57 Etymology. The species is named according to the lateral apodemes of ACG absent. Remarks. This new species seems similar to Atractides jenniferae Wiles, 2005 from Honduras, but could be distinguished from the latter by ACG short and posterior margins of Cx IV almost straight. It is also close to A. tembolus Cook, 1980 (males unknown) from Mexico but having a lateral flange on distal P-IV which is lacking in A. tembolus.
