Remarks.

Munidopsis sigsbei presented a wide distribution: from the Gulf of Mexico to Brazil in depths of 500 to 2000 m (Kilgoure and Shriley 2014). Specimens of this study were collected in Yucatán: N Alacranes and N Celestún; Veracruz: off Coatzacoalcos River; and Tabasco: in front of San Pedro and San Pablo Rivers (sectors SSE and SSW). Munidopsis sigsbei was the third in terms of abundance (n = 19). Males had a CL range of 10.3-20.6 mm, females showed a 7.4-15.6 mm CL range, and ovigerous females a 10.8-15.3 mm CL range. Ovigerous females occurred in spring and summer.
