Material studied. 1 male, N. E. Burma ( Myanmar), Kambaiti, 7000 ft., 25.5.1934, R. Malaise (in NRMS).

Discussion. This species resembles K. flagria Mohrig , which is known from high altitudes (3600–3800 m) in Nepal ( Mohrig 1999). The single specimen is in poor condition: the gonostyli are rotated in the mount so that they are visible in latero-ventral position and the tegmen is folded so that the details are impossible to see. From what can be seen, the gonostylus is very similar to K. flagria : there are five long curved megasetae arising from a common basal body (six described in K. flagria ) and there are no additional megasetae. K flagria was described as having the whole length of r-m+bM setose (macrotrichose). In the Burmese species, r-m has one seta close to Rs and bM is non-setose.
