27. Gleditsia amorphoides (Grisebach 1879: 24) Taubert (1892: 10) . ( Fig. 4H )

Distribution: In Brazil it occurs only in states of the South region ( Flora do Brasil 2020). In ParNa Iguaçu it occurs in the Foz do Iguaçu area.

Reproductive period: In ParNa Iguaçu it was found in flower in October.

Diagnostic characteristics: Trees easily recognized by branched spines on the stem and pinnate and bipinnate leaves on the same branch.

Conservation: Native-VU.
