Distribution: It occurs in the Guianas, Argentina, Paraguay, Venezuela (Camargo 1997) and in Brazil it occurs across the country except in some states in the North region ( Flora do Brasil 2020). In ParNa Iguaçu it occurs in the Céu Azul and Foz do Iguaçu areas.
Reproductive period: In ParNa Iguaçu it was found in flower from October to December and in fruit in February, March and October.
Diagnostic characteristics: Scandent shrubs with pinnate leaves recognized by a combination of characteristics: scandent habit, branches generally forming tendrils, axillary inflorescences and samaroid fruit.
Conservation: Native-NE.
