Distribution: According to Warwick & Pennington (2002) it occurs in Bolivia, Paraguay and in Brazil it occurs in states of all regions, but in the South region only in the state of Paraná ( Flora do Brasil 2020). In ParNa Iguaçu it occurs in the Foz do Iguaçu area.
Reproductive period: In Brazil it flowers from May to November ( Warwick & Pennington 2002). In ParNa Iguaçu it was found in fruit in June.
Diagnostic characteristics: Arboreal species recognized by its simple, entire leaflets and orbicular fruit.
Conservation: Native-NE.
