7. Calliandra tweedii Bentham 1840:140
Distribution: It occurs in Argentina, Paraguay and in the South and Southeast regions of Brazil ( Hoc 1992; Flora do Brasil 2020). In ParNa Iguaçu it occurs in Lindoeste in the Céu Azul area.
Reproductive period: It flowers from January to May and July to November and fruits in February ( Hoc 1992). In ParNa Iguaçu it was found in flower in September.
Diagnostic characteristics: Shrubs with caducous stipules, leaves with 2–4 pinnae, flowers with more than 35 red stamens.
Conservation: Native-NE.
