Distribution: It occurs in Argentina, Bolivia, Paraguay ( Ulibarri 1996) and in states of all regions of Brazil, while in the South region, it occurs only in the state of Paraná and in the North region only in Pará ( Flora do Brasil 2020). In ParNa Iguaçu it is found in the Céu Azul and Foz do Iguaçu areas.
Reproductive period: It flowers from January to November and fruits from May to June ( Snak et al. 2012). In ParNa Iguaçu it was found in fruit in January and July.
Diagnostic characteristics: Trees recognized by bipinnate, imparipinnate leaves, racemose inflorescences, yellow petals and dehiscent, legume fruit.
Conservation: Native-NE.
