Distribution: It occurs from Mexico to Argentina, Bolivia and Paraguay ( Vanni 2012) and in Brazil in states of all regions ( Flora do Brasil 2020). In ParNa Iguaçu it occurs in Foz do Iguaçu area and Matelândia of the in the Capanema area.
Reproductive period: According to Vanni (2012) it flowers and fruits from March to August. In ParNa Iguaçu it was found with flowers in March and with fruits in May.
Diagnostic characteristics: Twining herb with pinnate, imparipinnate leaves, yellow flowers, a calyx with glandular trichomes and a loment fruit.
Conservation: Native-NE.
