Distribution: It occurs in Argentina and Uruguay ( Meireles 2007); in Brazil it occurs in the South region and in the state of São Paulo in the Southeast region ( Flora do Brasil 2020). In ParNa Iguaçu it occurs in the Foz do Iguaçu area.
Reproductive period: It flowers from October to January, fruits from February to November ( Meireles 2007). In ParNa Iguaçu it was found in flower in October and November.
Diagnostic characteristics: Trees with pinnate leaves recognized by a combination of characteristics: leaves imparipinnate, inflorescences in axillary racemes, calyx bilabiate and fruits orbicular and coriaceous.
Conservation: Native-LC.
