Distribution: It occurs in Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay ( Barneby 1991); in Brazil it occurs in the South, Southeast, Central-west and Northeast regions ( Flora do Brasil 2020). In ParNa Iguaçu it occurs in all areas.
Reproductive period: In ParNa Iguaçu it was found in flower in April and in fruit from April to June.
Diagnostic characteristics: Trees with bipinnate leaves lacking nectaries, easily recognized by their flowers with whitish stamens, glabrous, craspedium fruit that are nigrescent when mature.
Conservation: Native-NE.
