Distribution: It occurs in Argentina and Paraguay ( Silva 2010); in Brazil it occurs in the South, Southeast and Northeast regions ( Flora do Brasil 2020). In ParNa Iguaçu it occurs in Serranópolis do Iguaçu of the Capanema area and in the Foz do Iguaçu area.
Reproductive period: According to Silva (2010) this species flowers and fruits almost the whole year, but with a flowering peak from October to December. In ParNa Iguaçu it was found in flower in October and November.
Diagnostic characteristics: Trees with pinnate leaves, leaflets generally elliptical, with salient secondary veins, the apex shortly acuminate or acute, the abaxial surface shortly-pubescent, keel lobes shallowly triangular or triangular and acuminate with the central one larger than the lateral ones, and orbicular seeds ( Silva 2010).
Conservation: Native-NE.
