Distribution: In Brazil it occurs in the South, Southeast, Central-west regions and in Bahia in the Northeast ( Flora do Brasil 2020). In ParNa Iguaçu it occurs in the Céu Azul and Foz do Iguaçu areas.
Reproductive period: It flowers in January and fruits in August and November ( Sartori & Tozzi 1998). In ParNa Iguaçu it was found in flower in November and in fruit in March.
Diagnostic characteristics: Trees with pinnate leaves recognized by a combination of characteristics: glabrescent leaflets with an acute apex and samara fruits that vary between oblong to falciform ( Sartori & Tozzi 1998).
Conservation: Native-LC.
