Distribution: It occurs in Argentina and in Brazil it occurs in the South, Southeast, Central-west and Northeast regions ( Flores & Rodrigues 2016; Flora do Brasil 2020). In ParNa Iguaçu it occurs in the Capanema and Foz do Iguaçu areas.

Reproductive period: The species flowers and fruits between August and April ( Flores & Rodrigues 2016). In ParNa Iguaçu it was found in flower in October and in fruit in September.

Diagnostic characteristics: Shrubs with pinnate leaves, generally axillary inflorescences, yellow petals, and a banner with two prominent calluses.

Conservation: Native-NE.
