Distribution: It occurs in Argentina, Bolivia and Paraguay ( Rico-Arce 2007); in Brazil it occurs only in the states of the South region ( Flora do Brasil 2020). In ParNa Iguaçu it occurs in the Foz do Iguaçu area.
Reproductive period: According to Barros (2011) it flowers from December to February and fruits from March to July. In ParNa Iguaçu it was collected with flowers in February.
Diagnostic characteristics: Lianas recognized by the stipitate nectary only on the petiole, leaflets in 16–27 pairs and inflorescences in glomerules. Conservation: Native-DD. Selected examined material: BRAZIL. Paraná: Area 3, Foz do Iguaçu , 19 February 1960, (fl.), E. Pereira 5365 ( NY) .
