Comments: Examination of the ♂ holotype of Lonchodes supernumerarius Brunner v. Wattenwyl, 1907 in ETHZ have clearly shown this species to belong in the genus Ramulus . Comparison with the type-specimens of Carl’s Cuniculina melanocephala have furthermore proven this to be a synonym of Brunner’s very distinctive R. supernumerarius ( n. syn.). The ♂ from Gunung Bawakaraeng is here selected as the lectotype of Carl’s melanocephala . The possible ♀♀ have been briefly described by Hennemann (1998: 116) as „ Baculum nematodes (deHaan, 1842) var.?“.
