Camptopoeum rufiventre Morawitz, 1880: 355 , ♂.

Type locality: Western part of Kyzyl-Kum Desert, NW of Bairkum, Turkistan Province ( Kazakhstan).

Published (original) locality: “Turkestan auf dem Berge Karak”.

Holotype: ♂, golden circle // 6. // Каракъ [ Kazakhstan, Turkistan Province , Karak steppe, NW of Bairkum, ≈ 42°46′N 67°24′E] // rufiventre Mor. Typ. [handwritten by F. Morawitz] // Holotypus Camptopoeum rufiventre Morawitz, 1880 <red label> // Zoological Institute St. Petersburg INS_HYM_0002777 .

Current status. Camptopoeum (Camptopoeum) rufiventre Morawitz, 1880 (according to Patiny 1999b: 313).

Remarks. Description of female: Popov 1936: 7.
