Distribution. Bahamas, Cuba, Grenada, Guadeloupe, Hispaniola, Jamaica, Montserrat, Puerto Rico. USA (FL), Mexico View in CoL , Guatemala, Surinam, Old World; widespread New World?. Notes. The species has been found in bat guano as well in plant debris ( Lawrence and Stephan 1975). Valentine and Ivie 2005: 278 report Euxestus globosus Arrow from Guana.
