Ephippigera algerica Brunner von Wattenwyl, 1882: 382. Type locality: Algeria, without precision.

Distribution: Species known from Algeria only ( Chopard 1943). Biogeographic zone: Tellian Atlas.

Bioclimatic zones: Humid, subhumid.

Records in Algeria: Ain Bou Rekbah [36°34'N 7°57'E] ( Vosseler 1902, as Ephippigera nerii Vosseler, 1902 ). Boufarik [36°34’N 2°55’E] ( Chopard 1943).
