Distribution: Mediterranean basin, up to Turkestan ( Chopard 1943, 1951). Biogeographic zones: Shoreline, Tellian Atlas, High Plateaux, Northern Sahara. Bioclimatic zones: Subhumid, arid, semiarid, saharian.
