Beside the examined material on A. parannamita we found the taxon, with by our opinion is closely related, but somewhat different from both A. parannamita and A. pedibus . We avoid describing it as a new species before more material can be acquired to judge the morphological difference with A. parannamita and A. pedibus or the molecular study can prove its specific status. The data on examined specimens and diagnosis are given here.

Material examined. 1 male, China, Aut. Reg. Xizang, Linzhi, Hanmi, 2200 m, 20–28.vii.2013, Z.H. Pan leg., genit. prep. HHL- 2907-1, coll. NEFU, Harbin; 2 females with same locality, data and collector, genit. prep. HHL- 2925 and HHL-2926. Coll. NEFU, Harbin.

Diagnosis. Adult ( Fig. 6 View FIGURES 1 – 15 ). Wingspan 40–42 mm. This species belongs to the atrovirens species-group, being closer related to A. parannamita and A. pedibus ; it is larger in the size than A. pedibus with the wingspan 31–34 mm but somewhat smaller than A. parannamita (wingspan 41–45 mm). Externally examined specimens are very similar to A. parannamita , but slightly differs from it beside smaller size by darker background and prominent black spot in subbasal area along inner margin of wing and somewhat darker coloured hindwing. It differs from related A. pedibus by brighter colouration. Male genitalia. ( Fig. 26 View FIGURES 24 – 26 ). In the male genitalia this species close to A. parannamita , but differs from by slightly broader shape of cucullus and lateral extension of sacculus, and mainly by the armature of vesica, in which the main large broad-based diverticulum is smaller, less curved than in A. parannamita , somewhat broadened and slightly dentate apically, with small submedial excision, but not bifurcate apically, like in A. parannamita and A. pedibus ; the ventral diverticulum bearing apically group of small basally joined cornuti. Female genitalia. ( Fig. 40 View FIGURES 36 – 44 ). The female genitalia of the examined specimens differ from A. parannamita ( Fig. 38 View FIGURES 36 – 44 ) by broader rounded antrum with quadrangular cup-like inner part, longer ductus bursae and longer and thinner corpus bursae. They are differ conspicuously from those of A. pedibus ( Fig. 39 View FIGURES 36 – 44 ) by their twice smaller papillae anales, broader, rounded antrum, and relatively long thin ductus bursae and narrower tube-like shape of corpus bursae.

Distribution. China (Prov. Xizang, Linzhi). The taxon is known only from the collecting site.
