Material examined. ROMANIA: Cluj County: Sucutard (=Szentgotthárd), vii.1899, leg. Pável?, revid. P. Boda, 2 ♂♂ ( HNHM) .
Published records. Soós (1959), Kecskés (1999).
General distribution. From Morocco to most of Europe, eastward to western and central Siberia ( Jansson 1986, 1995; Kanyukova et al. 2002, 2021; Grandova 2013; Boda et al. 2015; Shapovalov et al. 2018b). In Romania, this species is known only from the northwestern part of the country ( Fig. 27 View FIGURES 22–28 ).
Remarks. This species was reported from only two localities i.e., Sucutard, Cluj County ( Soós 1959) and Sălsig, MaramureȘ County ( Kecskés 1999). The record by Prunescu-Arion & Elian (1962) listed in Paina (1975) refers to Corixa geoffroyi (= C. punctata ).
