General distribution. From northern Africa, most of Europe (except northernmost areas) to southwestern Asia ( Jansson 1986, 1995; Fent et al. 2011; Kment & Beran 2011; Grandova 2014a; Boda et al. 2015; Stoianova & Simov 2016; Csabai et al. 2017; Shapovalov et al. 2018b; Stoianova 2018; Taybi et al. 2018; Protić & Nadaždin 2019). In Romania, this species is known only from the southeastern part of the country ( Fig. 10 ).

Remarks. Its occurrence in Romania is now confirmed.
