Type host: Tringa ochropus Linnaeus ( Charadriiformes : Scolopacidae ). Type locality: France.

FEMALE (4 specimens from Tringa stagnatilis from Poland). Total body length 535–555. Gnathosoma . Infracapitulum apunctate. Movable cheliceral digit 90 long. Stylophore apunctate, 120–130 long. Each medial branch of peritremes with 2 chambers, each lateral branch with 6 chambers. Idiosoma . Propodonotal shield with deeply concave anterior margin, sparsely punctate near bases ve and si. Setae vi, ve and si subequal in length. Seate se and c1 situated at same transverse level. Hysteronotal shield fused to pygidial shield, weakly sclerotized in anterior part, well sclerotized in posterior part, enlarged near bases of setae f2, apunctate. Setae h2 1.6 times longer than f2. Setae f1 and h1 subequal in length. Genital plate absent. Genital setae g1 and g2 subequal in length, both 1.7 times longer than pseudanal setae. Aggenital setae ag1 and ag3 subequal in length, both 2.8 times longer than ag2. Coxal fields I-IV weakly sclerotized and apunctate. Setae 3c 2.4 times longer than 3b. Legs. Setae tc”III–IV 2.4–2.6 times longer than tc’III–IV. Setae p’ and p” of legs III and IV with 6 tines. Lengths of setae: vi 25, ve 25, si 25, se 140–150, c1 150, c2 150, d1 115, d2 125–130, e2 125–130, f1 25, f2 210–230, h1 25, h2 340, ps1 15, ps2 15, g1 25, g2 25, ag1 120–125, ag2 45–50, ag3 125, l’RIII 40–45, l’RIV 30, tc’III–IV 25, tc”III–IV 60–65.

Type material (not examined). Tringa ochropus Linnaeus ; female holotype; FRANCE, coll. Trouessart.

Type material deposition. Material deposited in the Laboratoire d’Acarologia, France, and was unavaiable for present study .

Non-type material examined. Tringa stagnatilis (Bechstein) ( Charadriiformes : Scolopacidae ): 4 females ( AMU –SYR.102) (cov.); POLAND, Slonsk , 21 July 1987, coll. J. Dabert. Material deposited in the AMU .

Host range and habitat. Oligoxenous species inhabiting secondary quills of two hosts of the family Scolopacidae in Palaearctic region: Tringa ochropus and T. stagnatilis .

Distribution. Palaearctic: France and Poland.
