Niglarobia calidris Bochkov and Mironov, 1998: 12 , figs. 23–28.

Type host: Calidris minuta (Leisler) ( Charadriiformes : Scolopacidae ). Type locality: Kazakhstan.

FEMALE (6 paratypes). Total body length 580–680. Gnathosoma . Infracapitulum punctate in anterior part. Movable cheliceral digit 135 long. Stylophore apunctate, 180–185 long. Each medial branch of peritremes with 2 chambers, each lateral branch with 10–12 chambers. Idiosoma . Propodonotal shield apunctate. Length ratio of setae vi: ve: si 1:2–2.3:3.7–3.8. Setae se and c1 situated at same transverse level. Setae si and c2 situated at same transverse level. Hysteronotal shield well sclerotized, fused to pygidial shield, apunctate, extending to level of setae d2. Setae h2 1.4 times longer than f2. Setae f1 and h1 subequal in length. Aggenital setae ag1 and ag3 subequal in length, both slightly (1.2 times) longer than ag2. Coxal fields I–IV well sclerotized and apunctate. Setae 3b and 3c subequal in length. Legs. Setae tc”III–IV 1.7 times longer than tc’III–IV. Setae p’ and p” of legs III and IV with 9 tines. Lengths of setae: vi 35–45, ve 80–115, si 130–170, se 190–215, c1 155–180, c2 190–195, d1 120–140, d2 105–150, e2 100–135, f1 25–35, f2 285, h1 25, h2 390–465, ps1 30–35, ps2 30, g1 55–65, g2 40, ag1 190–245, ag2 155–165, ag3 230–245, l’RIII 25–35, l’RIV 25–35, tc’III–IV 40–45, tc”III–IV 70–75.

MALE. Unknown.

Type material examined. Calidris minuta (Leisler) ( Charadriiformes : Scolopacidae ): 6 female paratypes ( ZISP); KAZAKHSTAN, Kzyl-Orda , Sary-Su River (45°10'00"N, 66°35'00"E), 9 August 1986, coll. S.V. Mironov.

Type material deposition. Holotype deposited in the ZISP, paratypes in the ZISP and AMU.

Host range and habitat. Monoxenous species inhabiting quills of flight feathers of Calidris minuta .
