Comments. This species has been treated in two taxonomic publications. It has been recorded in eight localities in Dagestan, located in the eastern Caucasus region ( Otto 2022). This species represents the first known occurrence on both the western and eastern parts of the Caucasus, with no records in between. The palp morphology of specimens from Krasnodar Krai closely matches that of the holotype. This species is typically found at elevations around 1000 m, inhabiting the zone of oak and hornbeam forests. It can be encountered on the forest edge, particularly under stones ( Dunin 1991a).
Distribution. North Caucasian disjunctive range. Known from Dagestan (east Caucasus) and Krasnodar Krai (the first and northernmost record, west Caucasus).
