Tribe Eccritotarsini Berg
This tribe is the largest of the subfamily Bryocorinae , with approximately 107 genera and 628 species (Schuh 1995). It is characterized by the fleshy pseudopulvilli attached to the lower surface of the claws, the asymmetrical parempodia, the dilated tarsi, the greatly reduced or absent ostiolar auricle and evaporative area, and the single closed cell on the wing membrane. Eighteen genera and 42 species are known from Minas Gerais.
