Eccritotarsus compactus Carvalho, 1953b: 485 View in CoL (orig. descrip.).
Diagnosis. General color black. Side of head and rostrum, antennal segments I and II, legs (except black apex of posterior femora and base of posterior tibiae), base of corium and embolium (except slender black portion bordering pronotum), two roundish spots on clavus, most of cuneus, and apex of membrane beyond the areoles hyaline. Length 4.70 mm.
Host. Unknown.
Distribution. Bolivia ( Carvalho, 1953b), Argentina ( Carvalho and Gomes, 1971a), and Brazil (Minas Gerais) ( Ferreira et al., 2006).
Minas Gerais specimens examined. None examined.
