Diagnosis. General color black. Head, pronotum, and prosternum red; pronotum with a black spot near anterior margin. Legs uniformly black. Hemelytra dull black. Abdomen black. Length 7.50–9.00 mm.
Host. Unknown.
Distribution. Brazil (Minas Gerais, Paraná, Rio de Janeiro, Rio Grande do Sul, Santa Catarina) ( Distant, 1888; Carvalho, 1957).
Minas Gerais specimens examined. None examined.
Other specimens examined: 6 ƤƤ, Brazil, Nova Teutonia, 27º11’S, 52º23’W, Dec. 1944, F. Plauman ( USNM).
