Diagnosis. General color yellow or yellowish green; body covered by dense, semierect, brown setae. Length about 2.50–3.00 mm.

Hosts. Cassia senna L. [ Fabaceae ] ( Ferreira et al., 2001); Cassia cathartica L. [Fabaceae-Fabales] (Ferreira, pers. observ.). This species was also collected on Clidemia urceolata Dc. [Melostomataceae] northeast of Cardeal Mota.

Distribution. Brazil (Minas Gerais) ( Carvalho, 1947b).
