Neella carmelitana Carvalho, 1945b: 168 View in CoL (orig. descrip.).
Diagnosis. General color yellow to orange. Eyes, antennae (except base of first segment), front, longitudinal stripe at middle of pronotum, clavus, embolium, large spot on apex of clavus and corial commissure, and outer margin and apex of cuneus dark brown. Membrane fuliginous; veins dark brown. Legs yellowish. Length 4.60–4.80 mm.
Host. Leonotis nepetaefolia Schimp. ex. Benth. [Labiatae] ( Ferreira et al., 2001).
Distribution. Brazil (Minas Gerais) ( Carvalho, 1945b).
Minas Gerais specimen examined: 1ɗ (paratype), C. R. Claro, Dec. 1943, J. C. M. Carvalho (USNM); 1 ɗ, Carmo R. Claro, Jan. 1958, Carvalho and Becker (USNM).
