Pycnoderes palustris Carvalho, 1951a: 1 View in CoL (orig. descrip.).
Diagnosis. General color yellowish brown; head, collar, and pronotal disc yellowish brown; antennae hyaline or pale. Calli, scutellum, base of clavus, inner margin of embolium, cuneal fracture, base of membrane, veins, and apex of cuneus (except apex) dark brown; embolium, cuneus, and outer apical area of corium hyaline. Length 3.55–3.75 mm.
Host. Unknown.
Distribution. Brazil ( Mina Gerais ) ( Carvalho, 1951a).
Minas Gerais specimens examined. 1 ɗ, 1 Ψ, Viçosa, Baraxil, 27 Mar. 1933, E. J. Hambleton ( UFVB); 7 ɗɗ, 4 ΨΨ (paratypes), C. R. Claro, 1947, J. C. M. Carvalho ( USNM); 1 female, Viçosa, 27 Mar. 1974, Ferreira and Rossi ( UFVB).
