Diagnosis. Species usually less than 5.0 mm long. Body strongly widened through middle, flattened, and covered with dense adpressed pubescence. Head conspicuously wider than long. Antennal segment I much thicker than segment II, IV very slender. Pronotum finely punctate; calli prominent, posterior margins broadly convex; scutellum with a median depression at base.
