Pachymerocerus pilosus Carvalho, 1947a: 108 (orig. descrip.).
Pachymerocerista pilosus : Carvalho and Gomes, 1971a: 100 (n. comb.). Pachymerocista [sic] pilosus: Schuh, 1976: 9 (pretarsus).
Diagnosis. General color brownish orange. Head and eyes reddish to black; second antennal segment, clavus, cuneus, and membrane fuscous to reddish brown. Antennal segments I, III, and IV brown. Pronotum and scutellum reddish orange. Embolium hyaline. External area of radial vein on corium yellow or reddish. Coxae and base of femora hyaline; apices of femora reddish; tarsi fuscous. Some specimens with corium, mesosternum, metapleuron, and abdomen fuscous to reddish brown. Length 2.80 mm.
Host. Unknown.
Distribution. Argentina, Brazil (Minas Gerais, E. do Rio) (Carvalho, 1957); Panama ( Carvalho and Gomes, 1971a).
